a, Input voltage and input current
As we all know, there are different voltages in the world. We divide it to two parts. One is using around 110V, like America and Japan. Another is using around 220V, like China and most of the European countries. So when we design a Led driver, we need to consider where it would be used. So we make different input voltage for the driver. But now more and more drivers are designed wide range of voltage from 85V to 265V to apply to all the situations.
So once you know the concept of input voltage, you would know what means input current. But the reason of different input current is not based on the geographic position. It is based on the current in the wire.
b, Output voltage and output current
High voltage is very dagerous to people. So we need to low down the voltage when it comes out from the Led driver. This is called output voltage. We need to know what the output voltage is so when you connect it to the Led, it won’t burnt. Usually the output is from 12V to 42V.
We also need to pay attention to the output current. Because if the output current is too big, the Led would be burnt.

a, Wattage
We talk about the wattage of one Led here. There are different Leds, such 2835, 3030, 5050 and Cob Led. They all have their own working wattages. You need to choose the suitable one for the led light fixture. Because if your radiator is not enough to support the big wattage Led, the light fixture would degenerate quickly.
b, Luminous efficacy of light cource
Luminous efficacy is the specification to measure the brightness of the led light fixture. To a certain extent, the higher luminous efficacy, the better. But there is also negative effects if luminous efficacy is too high. If you increase the luminous efficacy by increasing the current, this would do harm to the lifespan of the Led. We need to increase it by improving the process or row material, suck as big led chip and good glue.
c, Light intensity attenuation
Light intensity attenuation is a specification to describe the decay of the led light fixture. This influence the lifespan of the light fixture. If light decay too fast, the light fixture wouldn’t work as a light.
d, Correlated color temperature
